Dennis Calvert
President & CEO
Dennis P. Calvert is our President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board. He also serves in the same positions for BioLargo Life Technologies, Inc. and BioLargo Water U.S.A., Inc., both wholly owned subsidiaries, and chairman of the board of directors of our subsidiaries Odor-No-More, Inc., Clyra Medical Technologies, Inc. and BioLargo Water, Inc. (Canada). Mr. Calvert was appointed a director in June 2002 and has served as President and Chief Executive Officer since June 2002, Corporate Secretary from September 2002 until March 2003 and Chief Financial Officer from March 2003 through January 2008. Mr. Calvert holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Wake Forest University, where he was a varsity basketball player. Mr. Calvert also studied at Columbia University and Harding University. He also serves on the board of directors at The Maximum Impact Foundation, a 501(c)(3), committed to bridging the gap for lifesaving work around the globe for the good of man and in the name of Christ. He serves as a Director of Sustain SoCal (formerly known as Sustain OC). Sustain SoCal is a trade association that seeks to promote economic growth in the Southern California clean technology industry. He also serves on the Board of Directors at TMA Bluetech the leading regional water cluster promoting science-based ocean water industries and also serves on the Board of Directors of Tilly’s Life Center, a nonprofit charitable foundation aimed at empowering teens with a positive mindset and enabling them to effectively cope with crisis, adversity and tough decisions. He recently joined the leadership board at Water UCI, which is an interdisciplinary center in the School of Social Ecology at the University of California- Irvine, that facilitates seamless collaboration across schools, departments, and existing research centers around questions of fundamental and applied water science, technology, management, and policy. Mr. Calvert is a scholarship sponsor for the Environmental Education Research Foundation and also the National Water Research Institute. He is also an Eagle Scout. He is married and has two children. Mr. Calvert has an extensive entrepreneurial background as an operator, investor and consultant. Prior to his work with BioLargo, he had participated in more than 300 consulting projects and more than 50 acquisitions as well as various financing transactions and companies that ranged from industrial chemicals, healthcare management, finance, telecommunications and consumer products.

Kenneth R. Code
Chief Science Officer (CSO)
Kenneth R. Code holds the position of Chief Science Officer (CSO) of BioLargo, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary BioLargo Life Technologies, Inc. He is the Inventor of BioLargo's technology and he holds over 20+ patents related to BioLargo's various technologies. His Accreditations include: Purchasing Management Association of Canada, Level IV, Council for the Accreditation of Pharmaceutical Reps, APMR, American Biological Safety Association, Advanced Disinfections.

Charles Dargan II
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Charles K. Dargan II is our Chief Financial Officer and has served as such since February 2008. Since January 2003, Mr. Dargan has served as founder and principal of CFO 911, an organization of senior executives that provides accounting, finance and operational expertise to both public and private companies who are at strategic inflection points of their development and helps them effectively transition from one business stage to another. From March 2000 to January 2003, Mr. Dargan was the Chief Financial Officer of Semotus Solutions, Inc., an American Stock Exchange-listed wireless mobility software company. Mr. Dargan also serves as a director of Hiplink Software, Inc. and CPSM, Inc. Further, Mr. Dargan began his finance career in investment banking with Drexel Burnham Lambert and later became Managing Director of two regional firms, including Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he was responsible for the management of the private placement activities of the firm. Mr. Dargan received his B.A. degree in Government from Dartmouth College, his M.B.A. degree and M.S.B.A. degree in Finance from the University of Southern California. Mr. Dargan is a CPA (inactive).

Joseph Provenzano
Executive Vice President of Operations
Joseph L. Provenzano has been a director since June 2002, assumed the role of Corporate Secretary in March 2003, was appointed Executive Vice President of Operations in January 2008, and was appointed President of our subsidiary, Odor-No-More, Inc., upon the commencement of its operations in January 2010. He is a co-inventor on several of the company's patents and proprietary manufacturing processes, and has developed over 30 products from our CupriDyne® technology. Mr. Provenzano is now a recognized expert in the mitigation and control of malodors and VOCs. Mr. Provenzano began his corporate career in 1988 in the marketing field. In 2001 he began work with an investment holding company to manage their mergers and acquisitions department, participating in more than 50 corporate mergers and acquisitions.

Joe was raised on a horse ranch in Northern California and has tended horses his entire life including working cattle, active in 4H showing horses and amateur rodeo as well as all aspects of their care and maintenance.

Dennis E. Marshall
Chairman of the Audit Committee
Dennis E. Marshall has been a director since April 2006. Mr. Marshall has over 46 years of experience in real estate, asset management, management level finance and operations-oriented management. Since 1981, Mr. Marshall has been a real estate investment broker in Orange County, California, representing buyers and sellers in investment acquisitions and dispositions. From March 1977 to January 1981, Mr. Marshall was a real estate syndicator at McCombs Corporation as well as the assistant to the Chairman of the Board. While at McCombs Corporation, Mr. Marshall became the Vice President of Finance, where he financially monitored numerous public real estate syndications. From June 1973 to September 1976, Mr. Marshall served as an equity controller for the Don Koll Company, an investment builder and general contractor firm, at which Mr. Marshall worked closely with institutional equity partners and lenders. Before he began his career in real estate, Mr. Marshall worked at Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young) from June 1969 to June 1973, where he served as Supervising Senior Auditor and was responsible for numerous independent audits of publicly held corporations. During this period, he obtained Certified Public Accountant certification. Mr. Marshall earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin in 1966 and earned a Master of Science Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1969. Mr. Marshall serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Linda Park
Board Member
Linda Park is a trusted executive and legal professional with a proven track record of supporting and advising public companies. With corporate board and executive experience at billion-dollar corporations such as her current roles working with Edward Lifesciences in her capacity as Corporate Secretary, Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel, and Board Member of the Edwards Lifesciences Foundation, and prior work with Western Digital Corporation, Linda brings over 20 years of experience advancing organizations’ corporate governance and strategic goals. She also has many years of experience advising issuer and investment banking clients on corporate and securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, bank financings and capital markets, including initial public offerings. She is also an active partner and thought leader on environmental, social, and corporate governance issues. Linda has an undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, and a law degree from Duke University School of Law.
Christina Bray
Board Member
Christina Bray is a senior finance specialist, entrepreneur, and renewables specialist, and currently serves as the CEO and founder of Bluedot Energies, an innovative company that designs, builds, and manages electric vehicle charging stations for large-scale public and private applications. A rising star in green energy technologies, Christina has significant finance, capital projects, and corporate operation experience, having negotiated M&A activities and managed $1 billion in quarterly loan volume at the solar fintech company Sunlight Financial. She has extensive training including a master’s degree in Military History from Norwich University and an undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Yale University. She is well-versed in middle eastern language and society.
Jack "Jay" Strommen
Director
Jack B. Strommen is a member of the board of directors of our subsidiary, Clyra Medical Technologies, as the representative of Sanatio Capital LLC. Mr. Strommen is the CEO of PD Instore, a leader in the design, production and installation of retail environments and displays for many Fortune 500 companies including Target, Adidas, Verizon, Disney and Sony. He is also the Chairman of Our House Films, an angel investor in several private companies ranging from bio-tech to med-tech to real estate, and serves on the board of directors of several private and public companies. A relentless force of growth, Mr. Strommen has taken his company, PD Instore, to new and ever increasing levels of success. Mr. Strommen purchased the family owned, local based printing firm, from his grandfather in 1999. With Jay’s vision and leadership, it went from a local company with $25M in revenues to a global company with $180M in global sales. Jay led the company in a private sale in 2015, remaining as CEO.

Steve Harrison
President of Clyra Medical Technologies
Steve Harrison is the President of Clyra Medical Technologies. Mr. Harrison has served as Director of International Ventures for BioLargo since 2008. From 2003-2008 Steve served on the Board of Directors of BioLargo as Chairman of the audit and compensation committees. During 2001 and 2002, he was an investor and advisor to healthcare and consumer products companies.

From 1996 to 2001, he was the founder and CEO of InTouch Communications, Inc., a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC), providing residential and business telephone services within the state of California, guiding the firm from authoring the business plan and managing it to profitability on annual revenues of more than $20 million after 2 1/2 years.

From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Harrison was Chief Executive Officer of Resource Medical Group, Inc., providing management consultancy services to the healthcare industry assisting hospitals, Health Maintenance Organizations, clinics, and practice management firms with medical staff planning and contracting issues, feasibility studies, and physician recruitment and retention.

Mr. Harrison attended Appalachian State University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Steve has been active in his community on the boards of his church and his children’s school as well as serving on the board of Bridges America Foundation, Maximum Impact Foundation and the Center for Individual and Family Therapy. Steve has four children.

Randall Moore
President of BioLargo Engineering, Science & Technologies
Randall is the President of BioLargo's engineering division in Oak Ridge Tennessee (BioLargo Engineering, Science & Technologies, LLC). Mr. Moore is an engineer/executive with more than 30 years of industrial commercial experience. Most recently he served as Manager of Operations for Consulting and Engineering for the Knoxville, Tennessee office of CB&I Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. Prior to that, from February 2013 – May 2017, he was the Manager of Operations at Integrated Environmental Solutions a Consulting and Engineering group within CB&I, Environmental and Infrastructure, Inc. He lead the IES Group to identify, develop and commercialize emerging technologies and apply those technologies to recalcitrant environmental issues in the industrial sector. In this role he directed fundamental research that resulted in five U.S. Patents and one Chinese Patent. Prior to that, from September 2006 – September 2012, he was the Office Director Knoxville Tennessee – Responsible for all office functions for 175 person office. From May 2002 – February 2013, Business Line Manager, Commercial Consulting and Engineering at ShawEnvironmental & Infrastructure (Shaw E & I). Where he was responsible for profit/loss, operations and business development of all commercial projects for the 175 person Knoxville office. From 1996 – 2002 he was a Staff Technical Consultant, IT Corporation, Knoxville, Tennessee. Responsible for the management of major AQS projects and technical accuracy of Field Engineering Projects. From 1991 – 1996 he was a Manager-Field Engineering and Air Quality Services at IT Corporation. He was responsible for managing the people and resources of the Field Engineering Group. From 1985 – 1991 he was a Project Engineer, Air Quality Services with IT Corporation where he performed and managed projects in several air quality related disciplines including emission testing, equipment design, specification and procurement, environmental permitting and regulatory support. From 1980 – 1984 he was a Co-op Engineering Technician at Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Richard Smith, PhD
President of BioLargo Water
Dr. Smith oversees research and development efforts at BioLargo Water, and has been integral to the vision of the AOS from the beginning. He is recognized as an expert in the navigation of public funding resources and networks, and in his career at BioLargo alone has succeeded in securing over 60 research grants. Dr. Smith also has over ten years of experience as the Research Development and Industrial Relations Coordinator at the University of Alberta Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Sciences, where he oversaw the administration of grants totaling over $10M. Dr. Smith received an MSc in Veterinary Microbiology, a PhD in Viral Immunopathology from the University of Saskatchewan, and he completed his postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Alberta. Dr. Smith has over 15 years of experience in industry, having worked with several Biotech Companies in Alberta, including ChemBioMed, Alberta Reseach Council, AltaRex and VirRexx. In 2003, Dr. Smith joined the University of Alberta as Coordinator, Research Development & Industry Relations for the Department of Agricultural, Food and Nutritional Science (AFNS) where he assisted academics with research development and program funding.

AJ Sexton V
Director of Business Development
AJ Sexton V currently serves as Director of Business Development for BioLargo. Mr. Sexton’s financial services career has encompassed 20+ years and the representation of over 75 different companies culminating in more than $550 million dollars in private equity transactions. In 1992, at the age of 24, AJ founded Sexton Equities, an investment banking and consulting firm specializing in providing capital for small private companies. As a private equity expert, the bulk of his career has been spent identifying quality companies for capital investment, conducting forensic due diligence to minimize downside risk; and then negotiating, structuring & funding the transactions via his network of institutional & high net worth investors. AJ also specializes in the areas of M & A, business development and operational consulting. He Co-Founded We Will Serve in 2008; a nonprofit corporation that enables families-in-need to provide their children with clothing & essential items. The corporation organizes an annual Christmas Tree Drive which provides hundreds of needy families with trees just in time for Christmas. He currently serves as Associate Elder of Mariner’s Church, holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Muskingum University.
Tonya Chandler
Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development
Ms. Chandler has substantial experience delivering solutions for water treatment and odor control in the water and wastewater treatment industries. With more than 20 years of experience, she is a seasoned executive with a special focus on marketing and sales. Tonya is respected across the water industry for her ability to build lasting relationships, uncover business opportunities and develop cost effective solutions to serve customer needs. She has special expertise in branding and innovation, international business, trade show and event coordination, publication writing and content creation, social media and digital marketing, project management, sales performance, and more. Her B2B and B2C sales, marketing, and channel management experience will serve a crucial role for all water and engineering services related markets for BioLargo. Before joining BioLargo, Ms. Chandler was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Anue Water Technologies where she succeeded in growing the company’s sales pipeline dramatically. She has also served as a National Sales Manager for Veolia Water Technologies, as Regional Market Manager for Hydronautics, Inc., and as National Water Treatment Coordinator for Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc
Alex Evans
Director of Corporate Communications
Alex serves as Director of Corporate Communications at BioLargo, Inc., a cleantech company that creates and commercializes sustainable technologies that tackle some of the world’s toughest environmental challenges. Alex started his career at BioLargo as a research scientist helping to develop one of the company’s innovative water treatment technologies, and over his eight years at the company he rose to support its C-suite directly with marketing, business development, science and technical writing, and financial modeling. Alex now exercises his gift for translating challenging concepts in science, engineering, and business for diverse audiences as the company’s Director of Corporate Communications. Currently, his focus is on BioLargo’s cutting-edge technologies that treat and remediate water contaminated with emerging contaminants such as per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and pharmaceutical micropollutants. Previously, he helped entrepreneurs and small businesses raise millions in funding as a grant-writing specialist at Campus Innovation Consulting Group, a consulting company that assists up-and-coming innovators with accessing non-dilutive capital and effective market research. Alex holds an MSc in microbiology and biotechnology from the University of Alberta.

Julian Bejarano, PhD
Director of Product Development of Clyra Medical Technologies
Julian Bejarano holds the position of Director of Product Development of Clyra Medical Technologies. Mr. Bejarano is a scientific researcher with more than 11 years of experience leading fundamental and applied research projects related to materials science and nanotechnology. In particular, he has six years of experience in projects related to biomaterials for regenerative medicine and multifunctional nanoparticles for controlled drug delivery. Julian is Materials Engineer and Master in Materials Engineering from the Universidad del Valle, Colombia. He is also Doctor in Engineering Sciences with emphasis in Materials Science from the Universidad de Chile, Chile. Julian was a visiting researcher during his Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Biomaterials at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Following his doctorate studies, Dr. Bejarano was a postdoctoral fellow at the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases in Chile for three years and Research Advisor of the Group of Polymer Engineering at the Universidad de Chile. Moreover, he has outstanding skills in project management, R&D, and innovation. His projects have been focused on the development and characterization of composites materials based on metals, polymers and ceramics, synthesis of multifunctional nanoparticles, encapsulation of therapeutic agents, and biological evaluation of materials. His findings in materials research have been published by prestigious international journals and has further attended various international events related to biomaterials and materials science.
